I love working with makers, creatives, artists and small businesses, documenting the work they do and the stories behind it. My goal is to create natural, honest images that give people a real sense of the person behind the business.

I’m not interested in staged scenes, forced smiles or awkward poses. I capture genuine, unfiltered moments that unfold naturally – only offering gentle guidance and direction when it helps a situation unfold more naturally or improves the lighting.
I love deep shadows, streaming daylight, and blurred movement – all of which add character and atmosphere
My work is observational by nature – capturing how you move around your space and create within it.,
Light
I love working with natural light, only adding additional light sources if the space is too dark.
Observation
I quietly observe you working within your space, patiently waiting for real moments to unfold.
Posing
No posing or staged scenes. Just the odd nudge when it helps the scene of lightling.
Hi, I’m Trevor
I grew up around photography. My dad was a photographer, and I spent many years as his unpaid assistant – lugging gear, loading film, and helping out in the darkroom.
His documentary work for local newspapers in the 80s first introduced me to photographing people at work, and it’s been a passion ever since.
Photography is a craft – from watching how light falls to developing film and bringing images to life.
That appreciation for making things by hand is what draws me to makers, artists and small businesses. I love documenting the work they do and the stories behind it.

Every session starts with a conversation. I want to understand your business, your space and what you need the images to do, before I pick up a camera.
Every session includes full commercial usage rights and an online gallery to select and download your images. Not sure what type of session fits your needs?
Brand storytelling
Photography that shows what your business actually does, the process, product, place and you, the person behind it all. Shot on film and digital.
Environment portraits
Portraits taken where you actually work. Sat at your work bench, standing in your work space, surrounded by your tools. Real light, real context, no fake smiles.

Interiors, workshops and locations, shot on film and digital with available light to preserve the natural character and ambience of your space.
